Quality at Novus is engineered into every step of the production process, not inspected in at the end. Our Quality Assurance and Quality Control program is built to ASME, API, and ISO 9001 standards, and has been independently audited and approved by four of the world’s most rigorous quality-review organizations in the industrial sector.
Every vessel produced at Novus moves through a documented, traceable production sequence: material receiving inspection, fit-up and dimensional verification, weld inspection per the applicable radiographic testing level, hydrostatic testing, coating thickness verification, final dimensional and visual inspection, and a complete documentation package at closeout.
Every step is recorded. Every vessel is traceable.
Novus applies radiographic testing levels RT1 through RT3 per ASME Section VIII, UW-11 and UW-12, based on the requirements of your specification. Our Quality Control team uses the RT designation to determine which welds to test, what percentage to test, and the acceptance and reporting criteria - all documented on weld maps, NDE matrices, inspection plans, and vessel nameplates.
