Adan Cano is Chief Operating Officer of Novus Process Systems, where he directs operational execution, engineering, and project delivery across the organization. Since joining the company in 2023, he has overseen design and engineering teams in Odessa, Texas, and Hyderabad, India, and aligned operations, planning, and project management to support the company’s growth across its end markets.

Adan brings more than 25 years of facilities engineering and project management experience across the United States, United Kingdom, India, Kazakhstan, Venezuela, and Angola. His background includes central processing plant design, engineering, construction, and commissioning, as well as leadership of major capital programs and engineering teams at Chevron and Birch Resources. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Tech University and a Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Southern California.
