PermianLide Rebrands as Novus Process Systems
Novus Process Systems is the product of fifty years of fabrication experience, operational discipline, and a decision to build something better. We began as Permian Tank & Manufacturing in Odessa, Texas in 1976, a fabricator built on a simple conviction: the equipment running in the field has to work, every time. In 2008, Permian Tank acquired East Texas-based Lide Industries, forming PermianLide and expanding ASME code-vessel production across TX, OK, and SD.
In 2020, a leading private investment firm with over $60 billion in assets under management acquired PermianLide with a clear strategic commitment: transform a proven fabrication platform into a world-class, engineering-driven process equipment provider serving the most demanding industrial and infrastructure buyers in North America. What followed was a disciplined transformation: two focused production facilities, targeted investments in engineering and project management, and revamped quality systems aligned to the highest customer specifications.
In 2026, we determined it was time to introduce a new brand, reflective of our transition from fabricator to modular process systems provider. Novus Process Systems is our new brand identity, ready for the next fifty years.
