The new name reflects the company’s transformation over the past five years and its strategic focus on serving high-growth, mission-critical end markets including data center infrastructure, advanced manufacturing, and industrial processing.
Founded as Permian Tank & Manufacturing in 1976, the company built a fifty-year reputation for fabrication quality in the energy sector. Following its 2020 acquisition by New Mountain Capital, the business undertook a deliberate transformation – consolidating to two production facilities in Odessa and Troy, Texas, investing in engineering and quality systems, and building a team capable of serving the most demanding industrial buyers in North America.

Novus Process Systems continues to design and fabricate ASME pressure vessels, API storage tanks, thermal energy storage systems, modular process systems, and custom engineered equipment, delivered to the highest codes and standards in the industry.
The company’s new website, novusprocess.com, launches alongside the rebrand. Existing customer relationships, contracts, certifications, and points of contact remain unchanged.
